Giving Tuesday:
A Celebration of Our 2024 Nonprofit Partners
At MiiR, giving is more than just a once-a-year occasion – it’s woven into everything we do.
This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to rediscover some of our past and present grant recipients and the critical work they do. Many of these partners have active campaigns running today, and your involvement can propel their missions forward.
Whether you choose to subscribe to updates, give a one-time donation, or set up ongoing support, your engagement fuels the momentum for meaningful change. Let’s create a brighter future together, one thoughtful action at a time.
MiiR’s Grant Programs
MiiR has a long-standing commitment to grantmaking, beginning with our first grant in 2011. Over time, our grant programs have evolved, reflecting our growth as both funders and partners. Today, we support a diverse range of nonprofits, which typically align with one of four key areas:
Sustainable Food Systems & Agriculture
We provide grants to organizations that work to balance the need for food production, improve the quality of life for small-scale farmers, and address the critical need for biodiversity and ecological preservation in farming practices.

Coffee Farming & Incubation
Our grants in this area focus on enhancing livelihoods, promoting environmental stewardship, and fostering economic sustainability in the coffee industry. We aim to ensure the social, economic, health, and environmental well-being of rural coffee growers and their communities.

Land & Water Conservation
We fund place-based initiatives that protect natural environments, improve quality of life, and bolster local economies facing environmental challenges. Our goal is to safeguard land and water resources so they can be enjoyed by all — now and in the future.

Legacy Grantees
MiiR’s early grantmaking efforts focused on clean water and poverty alleviation, and we continue to support a select group of nonprofits dedicated to these causes.

Looking Ahead
Over the years, we have learned the value of conservative planning and sustainable funding. We remain committed to issuing multi-year grant agreements and providing unrestricted funding to trusted nonprofits, while pacing the growth of our grant programs to ensure steady and consistent progress. Our goal is that these learnings will lead to an exciting new vehicle for MiiR’s giving, one that will safeguard our long-term commitment to making a difference. Stay tuned for more updates in this area!
